Conceptual assignment: Show "The Threat of New Viruses".

If You look closely You can perhaps see the growth in the petri dish forms a scull...the symbol of the threat, that was the topic of the article.

A good friend of mine...a dedicated swimmer...came up with the idea to have navigation build in his swim goggles. To keep him on track, two little red lights - one in each side - controlled by the in-build navigation, would light up: Left light means go a little left, right light means go to the right. With this brilliant help, he would be able to concentrate more on his swimming and less on navigating.

I helped him with the patent illustration for Swim Goggles with Navigation and with the illustrations he used to introduce his idea to Garmin.

Quite a simple task: The brains outer parts with color codes for the specific areas...frontal lobe, parietal lobe, temporal lobe, cerebellum, etc.

The job: Illustrate the "Dangerous Game we are Playing with the Future of our Earth".

Illustration of future probe prototype for NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).

A Gyroscope is found both in the Hubble telescope and in your phone and it is also my logo: Both a toy and a science instrument.

A group of danish scientist was invited to publish there findings in Science and I was asked to do the cover for the issue.

The assignment was to draw The Laniakea Super Cluster no one has seen in reality. Science describes it as a "slice cut through a simulation of a flat universe with a cosmological constant" ... a filament of 160,000 galaxies - including our own galaxy - with a diameter of 520 million light-years.

Mind-boggling and fascinating!

Here's my version based on the astronomers' descriptions.
